So at some point way in the future, I want to make Agatha's first costume from the webcomic Girl Genius.

In anticipation of that costume I decided to make this little plushie last week. He's made from stuff I had in the house! The main body is the wrong side of a brocade that was a ruined panel in a skirt of a friend of mine, and is stuffed with plastic grocery bags. Yay recycling! The arms and legs are posable since they're made from fabric wrapped millinery wire and little pieces of paper covered with fabric.

The whole thing took me about 6-7 hours, and I'm rather pleased with how it turned out. He's a little less than a foot tall, I'm guessing since I left him to watch over a friend, and can't measure him.

Ooh! Wonderful! You've got the shapes so right, and the fabric you chose really gives him a lovely texture!
